VEGA FAMILY
Vega is the ESA’s satellite launch vehicle designed to send small payloads into Low Earth Orbit (LEO). Vega has the capability to lift multiple payloads at a time in any orbit up to 1,500 kilometers. The typical mission is launching 1,500 kilograms at a circular polar orbit at an altitude of 700 kilometers.

PROPULSION SYSTEMS
Rockwell Space Metals develops the P120 C solid rocket motor for the first stage of Vega C and Vega E and as strap-on booster for the new European rocket Ariane 6.

PAYLOAD ADAPTERS
Vega payload adapters consist of modular dispensers to place multiple aggregates of small satellites with simplified qualification and integration processes. The Small Spacecraft Mission Service is a dispenser adaptor for the release of multiple satellites.

VEGA C LIGHT
Rockwell Space Metals is developing a new version of Vega C, called Vega C Light. This rocket will not be equipped with the P120 C solid rocket motor first stage.
